BYATA is the Backpacker, Youth and Adventure Tourism Association, representing businesses across New Zealand that work with and support the youth and adventure travel market.

We are primarily an advocacy organisation, working to influence policy and decision-makers in ways that create the best possible environment for our members and the wider youth tourism sector to succeed.

From responding to immediate policy changes to developing long-term positions on issues such as Working Holiday Visas, immigration, tourism marketing investment, freedom camping, accommodation, legislation and regulation, we make sure the youth and adventure tourism sector has a voice.
