The goal is to support and communicate updates on Safer Journeys and Safe Driver initiatives.

BYATA does not undertake any direct activity with this work other than support TIANZ in their activity https://tia.org.nz/advocacy/strategic-projects/visiting-driver-safety/

However, given it is such an important issue we do keep an eye on what's going on and recommend BYATA members stay in touch with what is being produced by the Safer Journeys initiatives.

The aim of the initiatives is to raise the standards of how we educate international visitors around driving requirements in New Zealand and to increase international driver safety.
